Mission Statement

Modular BC is an independent non-profit organization with the mission of expanding the overall factory-built modular home industry within British Columbia. This initiative will create more affordable housing quicker and create more jobs in all communities across British Columbia.

Modular BC will grow the use of volumetric modular construction including multi-family home construction in B.C. with a goal of increasing the volumetric Construction industry from approx. 4.5% top 25% within five (5) years.

This will be achieved through enhanced government interaction and involvement of industry and academic Industry advisers, standardized designs, improved guidance to government building and planning officials as well as the general public, contractors, retailers, fabricators, and establishment of educational programs. 

Vision Statement

Modular BC is an independent body promoting the interests of multi-family modular home construction for all types of modular buildings including multi generational and in-fill homes. Operations will be conducted in affiliation with and support of the Manufactured Housing Assn of BC, the Province, Municipalities, Mayors Task Force, and other specific sector organizations.
